Responsibilities at Fort Dearborn

Sean is a senior member of transaction teams primarily focused on providing superior transaction execution to the firm's clients.

Advisory Experience

Sean brings a wealth of financial and operational experience to Fort Dearborn's clients. He has assisted in the execution of nearly 40 assignments for companies ranging in size from middle-market, privately-held companies to large multinational organizations. Many of these engagements included the sale of companies and corporate divestitures. Additionally, Sean has raised equity and debt financing for many of the firm's clients.

Past Affiliations

Prior to joining the firm in 2003, Sean spent three years as a management consultant focused on mergers and acquisitions advisory services and financial restructuring, including exclusive sale assignments and balance sheet restructuring. Prior to this, Sean was a Senior Manager at McGladrey & Pullen, a national public accounting and consulting firm serving middle-market companies. Sean assisted clients with financial forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, profit improvement and cash management.

Industry Expertise

Mr. Broderick has over seventeen years of professional experience in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, printing and publishing, automotive, transportation, gaming and retail.

Academic Credentials

Mr. Broderick received his Bachelor of Business in Finance from Western Illinois University. Sean is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA.
