Mike is a senior member of transaction teams primarily focused on providing superior transaction execution to the firm's clients.

He is a member of FDA's Distribution and Industrial Growth groups.

Advisory Experience

Mike has assisted in the execution of engagements for companies ranging in size from middle-market, privately-held companies to large multinational organizations. Many of these engagements included the sale of privately-held companies and corporate divestitures. Additionally, Mike has raised financing for many of the firm's clients.

Past Affiliations and Civic Memberships

Prior to joining Fort Dearborn, Mike was the Controller for MVP.com, a start-up e-commerce entity, where he focused on creating and managing the financial infrastructure, managing the integration of acquired entities, financial planning and cash management. Previously, Mike was a manager at McGladrey & Pullen, a national public accounting and consulting firm focused on serving middle-market companies. Mike assisted clients with mergers and acquisitions, debt negotiation, internal controls, cost analyses, income tax planning and cash management.

Mr. Joyce received his Bachelor of Accounting from Northern Illinois University. Mike is a Certified Public Account and a member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society.
