Associates at Fort Dearborn support Managing Directors and Vice Presidents in executing transactions on behalf of clients. This work is research intensive and includes preparing preliminary industry studies, researching background information on potential acquirers, and assisting in preparing marketing materials for clients. Associates may also co-host management visits with a Vice President or Managing Director.
The qualifications for Associate include and MBA degree from a leading school, relevant investment banking or industry experience of at least 5 years and strong writing and interpersonal skills. Exceptional analytical proficiently is also a minimum requirement.
